Contact

OghmaNano is used by researchers worldwide. Since 2019, new regulations have made international collaboration more complex for UK researchers. These rules make it simpler to work with some countries than others, and this affects the ways in which you can contact me.

✅ I am a researcher based in… Any other country not listed above.

➡️ In these cases, I am not able to respond privately by email. However, I can reply to public questions (just as I would at a conference). Please contact me via Twitter or Bluesky, and I will respond publicly. I cannot answer private messages on these platforms.

🙋 Why this rule?

This is simply about legal compliance. Since 2019, rules have tightened, and in some cases answering private emails could be considered illegal. By contrast, information that is publicly available (manuals, tutorials, social media posts) is legal for everyone to access. By keeping private and public communication separate, I can make sure access stays open for all researchers. Please don’t take this personally - I really value international collaboration, but I have to follow the UK law.
