Getting Help
Community Support
OghmaNano has an active user community, and the best place to get help, report bugs, or suggest features is the OghmaNano Forum. Posting there means your question (and the answer) is visible to everyone, which avoids duplication and helps build a shared knowledge base.
We can’t always respond to individual emails, so please use the forum whenever possible. That way your question won’t get lost, and others can benefit from the discussion too.
Reporting Bugs
If you believe you’ve found a bug, please post it on the forum with enough information for us (or others) to reproduce it. Clear, reproducible reports help us fix issues much faster.
When reporting a bug, please include:
- OghmaNano version (e.g. vX.Y.Z) and operating system (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Steps to reproduce — a short description of exactly what you did, so others can follow the same path.
- Expected behaviour — what you thought would happen.
- Actual behaviour — what actually happened (including any error messages).
Bug fixes are prioritised based on severity, reproducibility, and community demand. We aim to address issues in future releases, but cannot promise a specific timeline.
Requesting Features
If you would like a new feature, feel free to suggest it on the forum. Feature development is prioritised based on community interest and ongoing research collaborations.
Research Collaborations
We especially welcome enquiries about potential research collaborations and joint grant applications. If you would like to explore this, please contact us directly — our contact details can be found via the OghmaNano Forum or the main project website. For general usage questions or feature requests, please post on the forum so the community can benefit as well.
Independent Use
If you don’t need support and are simply using OghmaNano, that’s great - just remember to cite it correctly in any published work.
